MUSIC
Music is a good way to experience unity and inclusion, while at the same time get the experience of ability and mastery.
This is what we work towards at TIP, every day. It's important that the children feel included.
ATMOSPHERE
Situated in an old house with retro furniture and decoration, completely free of todays materialistic focus; TIP is the perfect meeting-place for social gatherings.
Our goal is everyone having a good time, in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
COMMUNICATION
Communication is so much more than words, and music is a well known door opener and bridge-builder, world wide.
The social development of a child is built on interaction and communication, and with no words of their own, music can help engage the child's connection with the world, its intellect, learning ability, social and communication skills.
METHOD
We take our time; we watch and listen to the children play and explore.
The children get to participate in their own tempo.
We want the activities, like songs, to be recognizable for the children, so repetition is a big part of making that connection.
We want to create a familiar and safe frame for the child to explore within.
PARENTAL ROLE
As the child's anchor and hero, you play a very important part, by contributing rhythmically and singing along with the voice you have. Participation and showing joy is the most important thing.
The challenge evokes confidence not only in the child but also the adult.
